The only other company to use this approach is Berkshire Hathaway.

The Executive Team



Bob manages a family office and has advised and financed emerging companies for 30+ years in the Technology, Media, and Natural Resource sectors, with many companies achieving significant growth and valuations in the billions. Bob serves as an active Director, providing advice throughout the company’s growth phases. Bob has an Engineering Degree from the University of Waterloo, and an MBA from Harvard Business School.


Chief Executive Officer/Founder

Giovanni Jackson has dedicated over 30 years to the production side of media. His depth of experience as a developer, creator, performer, financier, Jackson family member, and producer makes him an asset as the CEO and President to the TGE Global Entertainment, Inc. team. One of the most connected people globally with deep industry connections to A-list directors, producers, agents, talent, and financiers. As a principal of True Fiction Films he produced IRobot and Catch Me if You Can, and some of the top grossing films of all time. Mr. Jackson is a true entertainment insider with relationships spanning music, film, television, technology, and hospitality globally.

His particular passion is to bring high quality media and entertainment education to talented ethnic minority youth. Mr. Jackson is a member of the Grammy Foundation, Producers Guild, Screen Actors Guild, and the Motion Picture Association of America.


Chief Operating Officer

Mr. Kaplan’s diverse career includes CEO of the Tesla Foundation, child guitar prodigy accepted to the California Institute of the Arts at age of 15 for the study of composition and computer science for music, a Number One Hit Rock song on the soundtrack of the all time best selling Tony Hawk Pro Skater video game, founder, speaker, technologist, producer, composer, designer, super connecter, and philanthropist.

With over 25 years of extensive experience as a team member, company officer, venture capitalist, technologist, creative, computer scientist, and marketer in many business verticals; entertainment, technology, business to business, fashion, luxury lifestyle, publishing, hospitality, education, manufacturing, retail/e-commerce, and medical. As a founder, officer of a company, and as a member of a winning team he has conceived and managed marketing and technology campaigns for Proctor and Gamble, General Mills, Viacom, Warner Brothers, Disney, and others.


Chief Financial Officer

J Michael Smith spent 20 years as a Consultant with experience in the fields of Finance, Insurance, Banking, Utilities, Mining, Aerospace, Technology, and Entertainment. He has worked to capitalize over a dozen startup ventures and expanded multiple new lines of service in well established organizations. His work included building pricing models, income projections, financial modeling, target-market research, and strategic/tactical market-penetration modeling. As a professional business writer, Mr. Smith has authored multiple business plans, executive summaries, pitch decks, grant submissions, and website copy. In 2019, his experience marketing new products and services as a consultant prompted him to write “Handbook Guide to Consultative Sales” (currently available through most book retailers). Today, Mr. Smith brings his proven leadership and experience as an officer of TGE, serving in the role of CFO.


Chief Creative Officer/Legal Counsel

Bob is an international best-selling American novelist and screenwriter who has been called by Publisher Weekly “One of the masters of terror-suspense fiction.” Founder of Lake Effect Cinema, a movie production company with a trove of intellectual property, he is also an ardent environmentalist whose company helped create sound environmental and quality management systems for many Fortune 100 companies, as well as provided environmental consulting and training for US AID and the World Bank to the governments of India and Mauritius. He is one of the top entertainment attorneys in the world and a former trial prosecutor.
